Kurabie
A centuries-old beloved by many, Kurabie biscuits with a delicate drop of berry jam. Kurabie will show it self the same, as you have known it for many years. Kurabie first appeared in Persia at the beginning of the 5th century and got its name from Arabic "gurabayt" - which means baked sweets. According to legends, this biscuit was created by a chef to show the Sultan the mastery it takes in preparing second courses from products that are always at hand.
Nowadays, these biscuits are usually served with a cup of aromatic coffee, like in many European countries. In a hot summer period, it is pleasant to drink a glass of cool milk with a couple of kurabies covered with a golden crust!
